As well as producing TV shows and sell through DVD’s, Kelnat Productions also produces corporate promotional films and Video News Reels, such as the Meteorological Offices famous Kray computers and more recently the new Chinese MGTF LE500 sports car that is now back in production at Birmingham’s Longbridge plant.
Met Office Kray Computers
The Met Office project was a promotional film shown to visitors attending their nerve centre. It featured the huge number crunching computers (known as the Kray twins) that number crunch weather
predictions around the world.
NAC MG- MGTF LE500 Promotional Film and VNR
To mark the launch of the famous car now back in production, Kelnat produced two short promotional films and photgraphic shoot for NAC MG (UK) Ltd. The photographic shoot featured Grey and Orange prototype MGTF LE500's. These pictures can be seen on the NAC MG (UK) website.
The two promotional films included a funky short film released to the press on USB sticks, the second was a Video News Reel for disstribution to news channels. A Video News Reel or VNR, is basically branded stock footage that is then sent on free of charge to the broadcast press for them to select which shots they want to use in their report. This saves them having to send out crews and at the same time, the company paying for the VNR to be made get’s to choose what is shot and includes the best on screen branding.
Behind all projects is Jamie Langton, who as well as his broadcast credits has vast experience of corporate productions. His speciality is bringing his broadcast skills to the corporate sector. This has paid off with programmes such as the award winning Vodafone live project which won a Cib Award of Excellence in 2008.
